Jaclyn Hernandez

LSW, LCADC - Intern, Clinician

Jaclyn has a masters degree from Rutgers University and an LSW in the state of New Jersey. She specialized in addiction counseling during her time in her masters program and has a focus on working with the co-occurring population. Jaclyn has worked in a multitude of different settings including inpatient eating disorder units, nursing homes, community management organizations, and partial care programs.

Jaclyn has worked closely with clients on medically assisted treatment to address their substance use in conjunction with intensive individual and group therapy. She has worked with the chronically mentally ill population for many years and has a special interest in symptom management to help them reach their personal goals.

Jaclyn is currently working towards her LCSW and LCADC with hopes of continuing to work in the clinical setting. She believes that identifying the underlying emotional conflict will help clients to overcome their own barriers in recovery and lead to a life in recovery.
